This was my walk home from the coffee shop that I frequent daily. This walk way runs right in behind my condo. The young children saw me and ran up and started talking to me in English – kids here come up to expats and want to talk to them in English.
Yesterday was Labour Day. I was in Seoul and found this beautiful University. It was the first time that I was in Seoul walking around in day light.
A staff member celebrated her birthday on Friday. We went to our favorite restaurant and then decided to go for desert. I was very excited as there is a Baskin and Robbins just opposite my condo. Well as you can see there was no ice cream, but rather live ‘Octopus Tentacles’. While there is no video evidence, I did try them – one – it was like a terrible tasting Jube Jube’.
Yes David, Norah and Philip I am getting a ‘little’ adventurous when eating out here.
This walk in the park actually started when I visited Holly’s Cafe – it was between the second and third period of the Leaf game. Yes I get to watch the Leaf games on Sunday morning. There are pictures of the hospital that is opposite my condo – and the medical university beside my building – a lot of smart people around here – not sure how I fit in – I have gotten accustomed to the sirens 24/7, as the emergency entrance is right in front of our building. There are a few pictures are from my condo looking over Central Park. From the point on the pictures speak for themselves. See if you find the guy lifting weights. The last picture I include was the IGA store – makes me feel at home.
PS The Leafs are in the playoffs – 1967 here we come – go leafs!
